As a nation, we are supposed to learn from our mistakes and carry forward from where we left. 100 days after the new government formation it does not look like we have learned any lesson.
Election is over and now we are being dosed with path toward implementation of economic growth. Which is good and nice. But the nation has given absolute majority to one party so that it can bring in new laws or change laws that would close those back doors and loopholes which are abused for last 66 years and nation has suffered. We are again marching towards the same pattern of promise of growth and at the end some growth but lot of scams.
2018 is when the scams will start to surface. 2018 to 2019 aam admi will again start protesting on roads. Another Anna will be fasting unto death to wake up the nation. Unfortunately the aam admi may no longer be live even to come out protest. Their fortune and belly would be sealed by crony capitalism.
We had learned a lesson after 66 years and we should not be allowed to forget that hard learned lesson.
We do not have doubt about Modi's vision and implementation. But we have learned that under the big vision and implementation plans, hides the mushroom of scams which starts to grow as we progress. In fact under those mushrooms some fat caterpillars would grow. And if we are not ready with high dose medicines for the same it can eat up all of us. We have seen that for 66 years, and staged on roads with protests, even Lokpal Bill passed, then why take chance? Why not implement it, or change it to stronger and implement it? Is there any other intention of not implementing this age old demand of public?
This nation should not be allowed to for granted anymore. Modis will come and go. But laws should make us steady and grow. It should not happen that this Modi would take us forward, and in next election, another Modi takes us back in the form of scams.
Is current Modi trying keep this as a last bait towards the end his 5 years? Like Congress did this time? When they are about to go out, they enacted in hurry just to save their face. Similarly Modi might try this towards the end, and promise the nation, if you vote me back, then I will implement this. Nation can not afford this marketing gimmick as well.
Nation should be in a position to choose what is best for her. I am sure Modi will do some good growth work, and ask for vote again in 2019 leaving us at a doorstep of no choice. Look at Odisha. We voted Naveen 3 times conforming that we have not learnt and we are in vicious circles. He is feeding us rice for 1 kg and we are giving our vote. Did it improve our life? No not much. 15 years wasted. Now lot of scams are surfacing in Odisha. Why? What have we done in last 15 years to stop them? 15 years is a long time. If we cannot change the fortune of a state in 15 years, I think, we do not deserve to keep the post.
High economic growth is good but not at the cost of future uncertainty. If Modi is a great leader he should make sure our nation is not taken for a ride. We want steady and fast growth not fast and scams growth.
Hence let's not forget the great lesson we as a nation had learned. We want to grow but cautiously. Making sure every step we grow are clean and corrupt free.
Let's stop the dance of scams forever!
